Wishing a very Happy 12th Birthday to our Bella Stanley and Stanley Steamer Litter. Bella was co-owned by us and Paul Stanley. This was destined to be a good litter with that Stanley name connection.

We kept one puppy from this litter and we named her Sharlie. Our good friend, Ritch McAdams, kept one and she was named Stella. These two sisters are pretty amazing. Sharlie still loves to run Master Hunt Tests. Fortunately, she has no problems with her eyes and hearing. Stella still runs Agility. They might not be as fast as they once were, but they know how to pace themselves. Every new day with these girls is a blessed day.

What better way to celebrate Stanley Steamer than to breed him today on his litter's birthday. Stanley will be bred to Patsy Marie today and we're very excited to bring some more great Stanley dogs into this world.

“JoJo is the Benjamin Buttons of dogs. Nine years old and still gets mistaken for a young dog due to lack of any gray hair. She is calm and affectionate and is our dog who we like to show off to prospective clients or passing admirers as she is quite the salesperson. That calmness goes away when it’s time to catch a frisbee or ball or when she’s at the line getting ready to run a Hunt Test or a Field Trial where it’s hard for her to contain her enthusiasm. JoJo is beautiful and has a soft golden coat. She is the best cuddler and a great bed mate. While JoJo is aging, she is still fast, but it used to be the case that nobody in the Turbo stable could keep up or catch her. While fast, when it is time to come inside the house, she is the slowest and like Private Winger, the soldier that is always last. She loves being outside.

JoJo comes from a successful litter of Master Hunters. Currently there are six from her litter with MH Titles, which ties for the all-time Golden litter with the most Master Hunters. This does not surprise us as JoJo’s mom, Sharlie, is a MH 75. This litter is a line breeding on Boomer, TNT’s Explosion.

JoJo has been invited to the Master National Invitational six years in a row and qualified again for 2020/2021. However, she has only gone once, as the GR National Specialty usually coincides with the Invitational and takes priority.

JoJo is everything and more that we could ask for. We are so proud of our JoJo, our second GR Hunt Test Hall of Fame qualifier.”

It was a great weekend at the Tallahassee Hunt Retriever Club Hunt Test. Xtra passed both Senior Tests. We had six passes In the Master Test. Sharlie, Molly, JoJo, Jesse, Mia and Rosie.

The icing on the cake was seeing Eli, owned by Larry and Julie Woods, earn his Master Hunter Title. This is a prime example of never giving up. No matter what obstacles got in the way, Julie would pick right back up and continue on the path to getting his Master Hunter Title. As the breeder and as a friend, this was a proud moment to witness.

Eli is out of our Sharlie and Boomer (TNT’s Explosion) Litter. There are now six dogs with Master Hunter Titles out of this amazing litter.

Pimms (Turbo Cup Runneth Over QA2 ***) received the Reserve Jam at the Open Stake at the Palmetto Retriever Club 2021 Spring Field Trial. Pimms is owned by Paige Jones and was handled by Ed Forry.
